"Bring Your Metal" Lunch N Learn for Military Appreciation Month
Author and military wife Ginger Cucolo will present "Dog Tags: The History, Personal Stories Cultural Impact and Future of Military Identification." Her book of the same title was a finalist in the USA "Best Books 2011.
Cucolo states: "The identification tag, affectionately known as the Dog Tag, might seem like a meaningless piece of metal if it were not for the importance placed on it by many servicemen, servicewomen and their families."
Everyone bringing their dog tags will be included in a photo with Cucolo.
Cucolo has donated five copies of her book to be given as door prizes. She will also be signing copies after the program. The cost of the book is $13.95.
Lunch is provided for those attendees who call ahead to register. To register, please call Bradshaw Library at (334)768-2161.
